Farmington Music Students Association
A student-led nonprofit that believes in the healing power of music. We bring people together through shared sound and emotion, using music as a bridge between generations, cultures, and hearts.
Our organization is built on two branches. Community Outreach brings live performances and music therapy to local spaces such as senior centers, libraries, and schools. Scholars in Sound extends our reach globally, curating performances, AI-generated compositions, and playlists for hospitals and care centers around the world.
Every note we play carries the same purpose: to bring comfort, joy, and connection through the language of music.
Our Community Outreach branch brings the restorative power of music directly to those who need it most. Through live performances and music therapy programs, we visit senior living communities, retirement homes, and centers for individuals with disabilities.

We understand school and life keeps you busy, which is why participating in FMSA is 100% voluntary. By offering frequent opportunities throughout the Farmington area, we ensure members always have opportunities to help out and grow.
Joining FMSA is straightforward! You are not required to play an instrument, as we also rely on non-musicians for essential volunteer work, fundraising, and logistics. By being a part of our network, you'll immediately have access to our expansive network worldwide.

We have a close relationship with our founding peers at the LMMSA in Vancouver. This connection allows us to have cross-border feedback with each other, support fundraisers, and culturally exchange ideas. We are proud to be a part of this international student-led music assembly.
